Job Title: Independent Contractor – Account Manager

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Independent Contractor – Marketing Account Manager to join our collaborative team. As a key player in our marketing efforts, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, implementing SEO best practices, utilizing various tools, and collaborating with the web designer, content curator, and marketing assistant. This position offers the flexibility of remote work.

Responsibilities:

  • SEO and Analytics:
    • Implement SEO best practices and conduct keyword research using Google Keyword Planner.
    • Utilize Google Analytics and Google Search Console to analyze website performance and user behavior.
  • Website Management:
    • Basic knowledge of WordPress and Squarespace for effective communication with web designers and developers.
    • Collaborate closely with the web designer to ensure website alignment with marketing strategies.
  • Content Curation and Collaboration:
    • Understand content curation and collaborate with the content curator to align content with marketing goals.
    • Work closely with the marketing assistant for seamless execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Sales Goals and Client Interaction:
    • Understand and contribute to achieving sales goals through effective marketing strategies.
    • Hold virtual and in-person meetings with clients to discuss strategies, results, and address concerns.
  • Problem-Solving and Storytelling:
    • Ability to problem-solve and adapt strategies based on evolving client needs.
    • Craft compelling narratives and storytelling to enhance brand communication.
  • Client Service:
    • Provide exceptional client service, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Google Suite Services and Hosting:
    • Proficiency in using Google Suite services like Workspace and Drive for seamless collaboration.
    • Knowledge of hosting services such as GoDaddy, Bluehost, and Pressable.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Understand and utilize social platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Google Business Profile for effective marketing.
  • Design Tools:
    • Familiarity with design tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Data Analytics:
    • Use data analytics to measure and improve marketing performance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Account Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword planner, and analytics tools.
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress and Squarespace.
  • Understanding of content curation and collaboration.
  • Ability to work closely with web designers, content curators, and marketing assistants.
  • Familiarity with sales goals and client service.
  • Proficient in Google Suite services and hosting platforms.
  • Understanding of social media platforms and design tools.
  • Data analytics skills for performance measurement.

Compensation:
